I'm not even sure where I got my Inspiration from! But the day it went down that catwalk, it had attitude!

 I used print screening to transfer my pattern's onto my fabrics! It was a lot of effort, but I got there and it was worth it.

Hippies, Gypsies Fashion Inspiration

You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but most of the time we can tell the personality of a person, by what they are wearing.

 

Today there are many styles out there. But one that I personally like, is the Hippy/Gypsy sort of look. It originated back in the 60's and 70's, which seems to be making a comeback as 'BoHo-Chic'

 

I realised this when doing a 60's project last year at University, I found myself spending hours just researching and collecting images as the mix of colourful patterns, materials and accessories caught my eye and ever since, I still find myself doing it. 

 

Hippie's had a different meaning in life, they lived for the freedom and had a big influence on music.

I just love everything about this Culture!
